Biographical Narrative

I developed the first library-oriented Web site for OSU and created one of the first health sciences-oriented Web sites in the world. I was the principle invesitgator and project lead for the Prospero electronic document delivery project, an open source system which helped to change the manner in which many libraries distributed interlibrary loan articles - by delivering them direct to the customer online. Prospero was used world-wide and had international recognition. I was recognized by Library Journal as a Mover and Shaker, was a two-time winner of the Medical Library Association Frank Bradway Rogers Information Advancement Award, and was a National Library of Medicine Biomedical Informatics Fellow.
